Coaches Team Goal

Athletes develop Nordic Skiing as a life long sport while improving their skills and developing a sense of accomplishment. Healthy body healthy mind. Simple.

What you need to get started
  • Don’t forget to pay your mandatory Booster Club Membership/Team Fee of $35 (this is separate from you activities fee paid when you registered). The membership and team fee form is attached HERE and is also where you purchase your gear. Your Booster fee covers any activities and equipment or items that the ASD or the SHS team budget is not able to cover like our spaghetti feeds we host on race weekends, race day supplies like sports drink/hot chocolate and snacks, supplies for the team tent (propane and any repairs), tables and coolers, Regions BBQ, end of the season team awards banquet, senior gifts, coaches gifts and much more!! We couldn't supply ANY of this without the Booster Club Member/Team Fee. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
  • Make sure you have glide wax on your skis on your first day of skiing! This is very important otherwise you will go nowhere and who wants to go nowhere?
  • Parent/Skier Info Meeting was Tuesday, October 25th in the Little Theater
If you missed it no worries, read all the information above to get started.

Waxing Skis

Skiers - you are responsible for waxing your own skis however, the whole team waxes the day before each race. Don't forget, we have a wax clinic on November 20th that is mandatory - this is a great place to learn to wax your skis!
